Signing in with Google is how Quiet Upload knows which YouTube channel to publish to. It asks for two YouTube permissions. One uploads the video file you choose to the channel you connected. The other sets that video's title, description and privacy setting, and reads the channel's name, handle and public counts, along with the titles and public view, like and comment counts of your ten most recent uploads, so you can see what you are publishing to. It does not read your comments, your viewers, or any channel you have not connected.
Your email address, and one encrypted token for each channel you connect. Video files pass through your browser to YouTube and are never stored here. Nothing is shared with anyone, and there is no advertising or tracking. The privacy policy says the same thing at length.
